Sevendust rocked!!

I may have officially put an end to my concert curse. For those of you who don't know...
1st concert- car accident
2nd concert- slept through
3rd- sold out after traveling to the show
4th- lost my license
5th- couldn't get in because i lost my license

Then there was Sevendust. I got in, saw the show but my night didn't go anything liked planned. So I'm wondering...could I still be cursed. Hope not!

My dad's mom sent my family two Christmas cards this year. Here is a woman who doesn't even know my name. Doesn't know anything about my father. Threw him out on the street when he was a small boy. And she sends us christmas cards. I wish she would just fall off the face of the earth. No one would miss her.

Kinda annoyed but the mood shouldn't last long. I'm headed to the gym and I'm gonna listen to Christmas music while I get skinny:)

Went to Portland on Saturday for another Loki show. This trip was wicked fun. I met up with Zach and Lauren in the Old Port then we headed to the show. It was a little early so we decided to go see Matt at Boru's and get some free drinks:) Hung out with Matt for a little while then headed back to the show. We got wasted!!! It was so much fun. After getting Matt mad at me, we slept it off then I made him breakfast in the morning. We're all good now:) Haha. Not much else to say. All my friends are coming home for the holiday so the next couple weeks should be nuts.

Christmas!!!!! Yah!!!

I talked to my bestest friend last night. My Chadlyr:) He was my best friend when I attended UMass Amherst and is one of the only people from there I have kept in contact with. He is my special life partner:)

He has made me smile nonstop all day today! Isn't it great to have someone so close to your heart spring back from time to time just to say hello? I love friends like that. They make you happy to be alive and cherish every second of everyday. I am going to plan a trip down to Mass to visit him very soon!

Other news, Christmas is fast approaching!! I can't wait for the season! I have started my Christmas shopping so if any of you have suggestions to what you want be sure to let me know:)

I'm about to go out with some friends from high school that I just recently caught back up with. It should be a crazy crazy time.

I'm a happy girl:)

When your back is turned, life continues on its journey. This can either be a great relief or a struggle to catch up with. The past year I have struggled with my head down and my heart in pieces, just trying to keep on track with my everyday life.

Not anymore! I'm ahead and just waiting for my life to catch back up with me. Who ever thought moving away from Bangor would open my world up so much.

A lot has happened since my last blog in october and if you are ready for the ride I would love to catch you up.

Medically, I am doing very well. I have lost a total of 26 pounds. Still have a long way to go, but I'm feeling great. My energy levels have shot through the roof! Finally some motivation to get up and moving. My heart is just a-beatin' away:) The polycystic aspect of my life is improving slowly. My cholesterol has lowered, as has my blood pressure. All very good signs. Slowly but surely I am making improvements. Thanks to everyone's well wishes!!

I just accepted a job as the coach for the Winslow High School Swim Team!! I have 15 girls and 12 boys on the team this year! It's so much fun:) The kids are coming along well and I expect we will make a good showing this year in the KVAC'S!

I am also working at Applebee's, which I HATE. But over time I think I'm going to find something that better suits my fancy:)

I have made my plans for next year. When I first moved home I was going to return to Bangor, and Dysart's next year. That plan has been tossed. I figure why take 20 steps backward after taking 10 forward? So instead I'm going to move to Portland and continue my schooling at the University of Southern Maine. USM. I love Portland and I'm there most of the time anyway. It will be nice to live there and experience that "city" even further.

And, the most exciting part of my life. I am dating! I don't want to get into specifics yet just because I want to be selfish and keep it all to myself. But for just an overview...He is 24, his birthday is the same day as mine:), he lives in portland, he's a bartender, we went to high school together, and he is amazing. I know that sounds corny but he is awesome. The type of person that generally just cares more about others then himself. The sort of person to make a gourmet meal if you said you were hungry, set your toothbrush up in the bathroom if you said you were staying the night...he is perfect. Could it be, Ali has moved on from a certain someone?

THERE IS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND:):)!!!!!!!!!!
